Our country, roads are very quiet. They're, so perfect for a peaceful walk. Yet even here i find an occasional beer can thrown from a passing vehicle. I have to pick it up. I hate it when people trash nature.

Well, let's, see now what i can do with the collected trash cans are containers and containers. To me indicate gardening. We need good drainage for good gardens and cleanliness is a good practice, even if you are dealing with dirt.

Now i got all this fun rubber bands to put the six pack together. Let's, see if that will do it. It's like solving a puzzle. I'm thinking, arugula so easy to grow, and i have plenty of seeds voila. Now we wait.

Hey it's happening. The seeds are coming. I'm, not sure you can see they're, so tiny right now it's. Taking the seedlings a long time to grow. I don't think they like tiny confined spaces wrapped in metal plus.

I happen to conduct this experiment right through a heat wave in the middle of california summer. The cans get heated and lose water so fast. I have to water them about three times a day and protect them from direct sun with a shade cloth to keep them cool plants like to breathe, and all this metal around them is not helping, but look at them.

They do not give up. They continue to grow. It's been one month since i started this arugula. It's, a very long time for arugula to grow. In this time. I could grow this size of arugula three times over.

Was it worth it? Absolutely? It's, fun to try something new and create something beautiful to my eyes and alive from a piece of garbage, and i wanted to create this video to raise awareness of all the strash that we humans leave behind everywhere we go beer cans, soda Bottles, food and candy wraps.

I think awareness is a good starting point to re-train ourselves to pick up our garbage and leave a clean trail behind and feel satisfaction and peace. By doing so, the rubber bands that i put the six pack together are long gone.

They couldn't stand the bright, california sun, so they deteriorated and exploded on it. But this is a rossiter chicken cover and it fits perfectly another piece of trash that i got to recycle into a garden.

Lessons learned, first of all, it's, totally worth it to pick up garbage and create something else out of it. It's, a great project. Would i do it again? Probably not. Would i recommend you do it only if you want to make the garden now and you don't, have any other containers at hand to start your garden, then go for it, and i have something else for this project.

I have an italian friend who doesn't care for beer, but loves arugula, and i'm gonnacgive this to her as a gift, and we will see how she reacts. She doesn't have a garden on her own and she can pick some arugula from this miniature garden for her salad.

I really hope that she will be delighted with this gift. Okay, let's go here. Thank you. What is that? Arugula arugula it's, arugula! Wonderful! You, don't, have a garden uh. No, so now you have a garden.

Okay, i can .... You can take a little ... little ..., okay ..., for the salad, wonderful! This is a very nice present, very nice. It's. Wonderful to have every morning some ... every day, some to ...
